Republican competition of drawings «Helicopter imaginations» Devote to Michael Mil's 100 years.

On November, 22nd, 2009 will be 100 years from the date of a birth of the outstanding person, a Dr. of Technical Science, the Hero of socialist work, the Winner of the Lenin and State award of the USSR Michael Mil are executed. Such people as M.L.Mil, in the history of each country is a little, but they glorify the Fatherland forever. History of development of the industry of Tatarstan, its capital – cities of Kazan inseparably linked with a name of this talented person. Michael Mil has created the helicopters causing admiration of designers, pilots, avia-industrialists of all world. This person had talent of the scientist, the public figure, the artist. It was surprisingly successful designer and was able to form effective teams of adherents. Under his management it has been created more than ten types of helicopters from Mi-1 to Mi-12 which records have not surpassed till now.
More then half a century Mil's helicopters are under construction on the Kazan earth. For these years Mi-1, Mi-4, Mi-8, Mi-14, Mi-17, Mi-38 have been mastered. Cumulative release of helicopters of mark "Mi" in Kazan has made about 12000 pieces. Michael Mil does not simply created a design, developed the project, he did everything that the helicopters designed by it were successful, competitive and are the best. And today in design office of the Kazan Helicopter Plant continuers of nice traditions of design school of Michael Mil. They create new perspective helicopters Mi-38, ANSAT, AKTAY.
Within the limits of celebrating of the 100 years from the date of Michael Mil Ministry of education and science of Tatarstan birth together with JSC Kazan Helicopter Plant declares competition of drawings «Helicopter imaginations». All pupils of educational institutions at the age from 7 till 18 years can take part in this competition. «Helicopter imaginations» urged to expand knowledge of children of aircraft and helicopter engineering, to support the art-presented pupils, to stimulate interest to creativity at schoolboys. Works will be considered within the limits of 3 basic age groups – 7-9 years, 10-13 years and 14-18 years, and in following nominations: «From history about helicopter engineering », «If there I would be the pilot of the helicopter …», «Helicopter imagination», «future Helicopters», «In harmony with the nature», «Aerography of helicopters».
